Volunteer loves hearing donor stories

I’ve been working in the phone on the night shift for over 10 years now. I love it when people want to tell me their stories about why they are donating when they phone. I even had one child who was recovering on The Royal Children’s Hospital call.

I see many familiar faces when I return each year which is great to see.

I work with children so I love to support anything that support the children.

Phone room volunteer gives back

I have been a volunteer for over 10 years and I love it.
I am also a mum of 4 and we have attended the RCH many times and I want to give back to the hospital for what they have done for me and my family.

What I love is answering calls to all the donations for an amazing cause it so heart warming. Everyone gives what they can for this wonderful hospital.

I am honoured to be part of it, and I look forward to many more years volunteering on Good Friday.
